Shepherd’s Care Vanguard (BMS Retrofit)

This seniors’ residence was equipped with high-end mechanical equipment and a full building management system (BMS). After a few years of operation, the BMS manufacturer had dropped support for the system and our client was left with little to no control over their own building. We completed a thorough review of the building, which included reverse-engineering the BMS. We were able to create a design to remove the existing (discontinued) building controllers and replace them with our state of the art control and automation system, while salvaging as much of the existing infrastructure as we could to keep the cost as low as possible for the client. With the retrofit was complete, the client now has an intuitive, fully functioning system with remote access.
