The ever-changing information surrounding COVID-19 has presented many changes to all business operations across Alberta. These changes are necessary to prevent further spread and to protect Albertans as a whole. EDL is committed to doing our part to exceed the required precautions, while also ensuring our customers needs are addressed.
Although COVID-19 is not known to be spread via airborne transmission, it is critical for businesses to ensure that they have proper filtration and continue preventative maintenance to prevent failures, especially for essential services. EDL is prepared to offer all levels of service to our customers.
Following directives from the Chief Medical Officer and The Government of Alberta surrounding social distancing, we have gone above and beyond and have implemented a work from home/remote work system supported by a fully digital system. This change to operations will not disrupt service to our customers. We have outlined the changes below:
• Our staff are working from home and EDL has adopted a fully digital system. This digital system allows us to continue to provide seamless, uninterrupted service to our customers while removing the passing of personal effects (paper, pens etc.) between technicians, customers and fellow employees.
o Please continue to call our office at 780-421-0686 for scheduling
• Business Development representatives are working remotely and are using technology such as video calling and screen sharing to allow them to continue to produce quotes, proposals and estimates with limited interaction and site visits.
o We are more than happy to assist and customers who are unfamiliar with some of the processes we have adopted, please contact your Business Development representative for more information or training.
• Subcontractors are required to prove that they have procedures that meet or exceed the measures we have adopted prior to completing any work.
• If any of our customers have internal building operators and you become short on resources, our staff can mobilize immediately to reduce any disruption to your operation
o Please contact our Department Managers and Business Development representatives for more information.
We understand that this is an unprecedented situation, and that communication is of the utmost importance. Please do not to hesitate to contact our office at 780-421-0686 for any inquiries.
While the government is continuing to update Albertans of the COVID-19 precautions, the team at EDL is dedicated to ensuring that we are creating a positive proactive environment designed to protect as many people as possible. Should any announcements from the health authorities change what we have done or require further action we will advise our co-workers and customers as necessary.
We strongly encourage all Albertans to stay up to date on government releases. For your reference these can be reviewed through the following link: https://albertahealthservices.ca/topics/Page16944.aspx
Our customers have relied on EDL for 40+ years and our commitment has always been and continues to be, providing excellent service to our customers. We understand this can be a confusing time for everyone and we want you all to know that we are here to support your operations in anyway we can.
At Environmental Dynamics, we believe all of our work should be two things: reliable and high quality. And neither of those characteristics are possible without a dedication to safety.
That’s why we take safety very seriously as a company, and view it as part of our culture. Safety isn’t something we do because we have to, we do it because we believe in the way it benefits our team and our clients.
Unlike many companies in our industry, we have an in-house safety coordinator, dedicated to developing and updating our safety program, supporting and educating our team in safety practices, and answering questions our clients may have about our standards and practices. We also have a dedicated health and safety committee, who ensure every voice in the organization is heard when it comes to establishing safety policies and procedures.
Our safety certifications, memberships and affiliations include:
- Contractor Check
We are also in excellent standing with WCB.
