Low & No Touch Procedures
Office Work
Any visitor or employee entering the EDL premises will do so without any flu/cold like symptoms and will follow:
- Mandatory hand sanitizing upon entry
- Cleaning and sanitizing of workspaces (shared or private)
- All local and regional health services guidelines
- Maintain physical distancing (6’ or 2 metres)
- Refrain from hand shaking or interpersonal contact
- No sharing of pens, documents or technology
- No envelopes to be licked
- Envelopes and paper are to only be handled with hand sanitizing before and after each touch.
- Completing work via digital platforms for operations, finance, human resources and sales are to remain in place.
Field Work
Any EDL personnel that are working in the field providing service to customers will be onsite without any flu/cold like symptoms and will follow:
- EDL personnel will wear gloves and other PPE reducing any potential human contact on any surface of the field repair assets
- All local and regional health services guidelines
- Refrain from hand shaking or interpersonal contact
- No sharing of pens, documents or technology
- Maintain physical distancing (6’ or 2 metres)
- And wearing a mask when physical distancing is not possible to complete the work safely
- Completing work via digital platforms for operations, finance, human resources and sales are to remain in place

That’s why we take safety very seriously as a company, and view it as part of our culture. Safety isn’t something we do because we have to, we do it because we believe in the way it benefits our team and our clients.
Unlike many companies in our industry, we have an in-house safety coordinator, dedicated to developing and updating our safety program, supporting and educating our team in safety practices, and answering questions our clients may have about our standards and practices. We also have a dedicated health and safety committee, who ensure every voice in the organization is heard when it comes to establishing safety policies and procedures.
