Grandin Parc (Electrical and BMS Renovation)

EDL Building Solutions was hired by the owner of a large, six-story commercial building to replace the full electrical system. We worked alongside the electrical engineers as well as the owner to install the system they designed. We also replaced the existing pneumatic control system with our state of the art control and automation system. The building was approximately 50 per cent occupied during construction – this produced some unique challenges. EDL Building Solutions was able to energize new power panels and main feeds without disruption to the existing tenants, and retrofit the building’s existing VAV boxes and supply new radiant heating control valves so that the customer could have full digital control over all zones and equipment.
